Putong Bigas or Rice Puto is a traditional rice cake made from galapong or rice dough

Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl

Mix coconut milk and hot water. Add this to the ingredients, then add oil and anise, mix and let it rest.

Add oil and anise seeds and mix it until completely blended

Transfer the mixture to the molds and let it rest

Place the molds in the steamer basket, steam for 15 minutes

Remove the molds from the heat and let it cool down a bit before unmolding
