Ice Scramble Recipe

Ice scramble or "Iskrambol" is a budget-friendly, simple and easy refreshing summer cooler that will give you instant sweet relief from the hot weather! This banana-flavored, pink-hued frozen treat will take you back to those good 'ol golden days!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups ice cubes
  • 4 tablespoon skimmed milk powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup washed brown sugar
  • 3-5 drops banana essence
  • 3-5 drops red food color

Instructions

  • Place the ice cubes/pieces in a blender. Pour around ¼ of the milk, then put the the on lid and pulse until the ice are crushed at the bottom. Add milk gradually then continue pulsing until all ice pieces are crushed finely. You may need to use a spoon to move the ice around for easier crushing.
    4 cups ice cubes, ½ cup milk
  • Add the milk powder, washed brown sugar, banana essence and red food color. Using a spoon, mix together. Put the lid back on a pulse until all ingredients are well combined and sugar is dissolved.
    4 tablespoon skimmed milk powder, ½ cup washed brown sugar, 3-5 drops banana essence, 3-5 drops red food color
  • Transfer on serving glasses and top with skimmed milk and other toppings of your choice. Enjoy!
