- 3 bags of red tea
- 1 lemon - squeezed
- ½ lemon - cut into slices
- sugar or honey (amount depends on personal preference, I used 3-4 Tablespoons honey)
- 2 stems fresh mint
- 1 cup boiling water
- 3 cups cold water
- ice cubes
Add tea bags to the cup of boiled water and steep for 10 minutes.
Take out tea bags and add sugar or honey and stir until all grains are dissolved.
Transfer the hot tea in a jar or jug and add the lemon juice, lemon slices and mint leaves. Using a wooden spoon, press some of the mint leaves to help infuse tea with mint flavor.
Add the cold water and ice cubes and stir.
