- 20-24 pieces calamansi for juice
- 4 pieces calamansi for garnish (optional)
- Β½ - ΒΎ cup sugar
- 4 cups water room temperature
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 4 pieces mint leaves optional
For 1 glass:
- 5-6 pieces calamansi
- 2-3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup water
- Β½ cup ice cubes
- mint leaves optional
Instructions
- 20-24 pieces calamansi, 4 pieces calamansiWash the calamansi thoroughly then cut each into half across the segments.
- Place a strainer on top of a pitcher/glass.
- Use your thumb and index finger or use a lemon/calamansi squeezer to squeeze out 20-24 calamansi juice and run it through the strainer.
- Β½ - ΒΎ cup sugar, 4 cups water, 2-3 tablespoons sugar, 1 cup waterAdd the sugar and pour in half of the water. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Add the rest of the water and stir again.
- 5-6 pieces calamansiAdd the remaining calamansi halves to the pitcher.
- 4 pieces mint leaves, mint leavesFor added flavor, lightly crush or pound the mint leaves with the flat of a knife. Add this to the pitcher of calamansi juice.
